Tongass Critter Care

During the start of 2020 Covid caused a huge decrease in people traveling - but a massive increase of Alaskans  wanting to camp, stay in cabins, or simply find an excuse to leave the house. While a dog may be able to join it's owner on an adventure, we found cats and reptiles were not so lucky. In addition to this, we also found an overwhelming increase of dogs that were unsocialized, puppies lacking leash manners, and birds overgrooming their feathers as they stressed about leaving their cages. Rhyan found the need to help these animals - and their owners - live their best lives.

Fast forward to 2024. Here at TCC we have grown substantially with dog walking services, house sitting, and fish tank cleaning. We have increased in assisting small animals, birds, and even farm life. We gained so many clients we were reaching the point where we couldn't keep up! So we reached out to our community, and found TK - a specialized cat service provider, with more experience than we could ever ask for! And LIz, a long-term Juneauite with previous history working with Wee Fishie - a long lost Juneau Treasure!
